About Willamette Valley Land Clearing

Land Clearing and Forestry Mulching Out of Lebanon

Our Story

Land Clearing and Forestry Mulching Out of Lebanon

Willamette Valley Land Clearing is a land clearing and forestry mulching company based in Lebanon. We take brush, undergrowth and small trees off lots, fields and back acreage. Most of the work is clearing overgrown land that has closed in and needs to be usable again. In this valley that often means Himalayan blackberry, which builds thickets heavy enough to shut a field down.

Willamette Valley Land Clearing grew out of commercial concrete contracting. Owner Bill McCurdy has run that concrete business in Oregon for more than 40 years. The machines and the dirt work came with it, and our crews run this equipment every day. That is the background behind every clearing job we take.

Two machines do most of the work here. A Bobcat skid steer runs a forestry mulcher head and a heavy brush mower. An excavator carries a mulching head and a brush rake for heavier material and root balls. Forestry mulching turns brush and small trees into chips right where they stand.

Lebanon sits where the valley floor runs into the Cascade foothills. Linn County calls itself the Grass Seed Capital of the World, and timber starts where the fields stop. Our service area runs about an hour out from Lebanon, across Linn, Benton, Marion, Polk and Lane counties. Estimates are free, and you can call or text (541) 936-4687.

How We Run

Three Things You Can Count On

Mulcher Heads on Both Machines

The skid steer and the excavator both take forestry mulcher heads. That is how a thicket turns into a layer of chips on the ground.

A Free Estimate on Site

We come out, look at the ground and price the job before anything starts. Estimates are free anywhere in the mid-Willamette Valley.

Cleared Ground You Can Use

The job is done when the ground is open and the material is handled. Brush ends up as chips, or raked into a pile if that suits the property better.

Why Choose Willamette Valley Land Clearing

Land Clearing Done With the Right Machines

Mulcher heads on both machines

Our Bobcat skid steer carries a forestry mulcher head and a heavy brush mower. The excavator adds a mulching head and a brush rake, so stumps and root balls come out as we go.

Free estimates across the valley

Estimates are free in Linn, Benton, Marion, Polk and Lane counties. Tell us where the property sits and what you want cleared, and we will come look at it.

Overgrown to usable in one job

The same machines cut the growth, mulch the material and smooth the cleared ground. One company covers the work from the first pass to the last look.

How We Work

How a Job With Willamette Valley Land Clearing Runs

From the first call or text to the final look at the cleared ground, here is how it goes.

1

Call or text us

Tell us where the property is and what you want cleared. Rough acreage and a couple of photos give us a good start.

2

Site visit and free estimate

We come out, look over the ground and talk through the scope with you. Then you get a free estimate for that scope of work.

3

Plan and timing

Before the machines move, we sort out access and timing. Oregon law typically calls for an 811 utility locate ahead of ground-disturbing work. In summer, Oregon Department of Forestry fire season rules can limit power equipment hours. We plan the job around whatever applies to your property.

4

The machine work

The mulcher head grinds brush and small trees into chips in place. The brush rake pulls stumps and root balls where the ground has to come clean.

5

Cleanup and final look

We spread the chips out and smooth the cleared ground where it needs it. Then we go over the finished work with you before we load up.
